Tibetan Refugees

Maitreya Charity's efforts with Tibetan Refugees are based among the Refuge population in India.

Our Sponsorship Programme includes:

FAMILIES in the Bhandara Refugee Settlement,
in Central India (£10stg per month)

CHILDREN: require sponsorship to make their education possible (£10stg per month)

MONKS at the Gungru Khantsen of Gomang Monastic University in Mungod, Southern India (£10stg per month)

Mongolia

In Mongolia Maitreya Charity's work focuses on assisting those who bear the brunt of difficulties in that country.

Our Sponsorship Programmes include:

CHILDREN: require help to make their education possible (£10stg per month)

FAMILIES living in complete destitution
($15 per month)

WOMAN HEADED FAMILIES and SINGLE WOMEN living without means of support. ($15 per month)

ONDERSHIL SUM, in the Gobi Area, where extreme conditions create extreme problems ($15 per month)

ASRAL CENTRE, from which all programmes are administered. Located on the edge of the capital city,Ulaanbaatar, the Centre is accessible to both urban and rural Mongolians. This proves most useful in our outreach.
